The congregation of Christ the King in Port Edward have expressed thanks to the Diocese of Caledonia for their support in making it possible to replace the roof, as well as other necessary work to improve the structure of their Church. The congregation had raised in excess of $13,000.00. They were assisted by receiving a grant in the amount of $6,000.00 from The Rufus Gibbs Foundation, a grant in the amount of $10,000.00 from The Larry Hope Fund, and a non-interest bearing loan from the Diocese in the amount of $10,000.00, repayable over 5 years.  We rejoice with them in the completion of this work and pray that, with a strong foundation in Jesus Christ, and a tight roof, Christ the King will continue to weather the storms and bring forth the Gospel of Christ.
